Traffic Calming

The City of Johns Creek invests in creating and maintaining a community that is safe for all vehicles, pedestrians, and bicyclists.

To provide a consistent approach and add clarity to the process to address speeding in neighborhoods, the City of Johns Creek adopted a Traffic Calming Policy May 7, 2018. (View the Traffic Calming Policy Exhibit A)

Key features of the policy include:
• establishing thresholds of utilizing traffic calming devices.

• creating a process by which the City would survey owners and residents to determine support for installation of traffic calming devices.
