Current Issues:    

• Lack of pedestrian connectivity from East Johns Crossing to McGinnis Ferry Road.

Proposed Solution:

• Construction of a sidewalk along Medlock Bridge Road from East Johns Crossing to McGinnis Ferry Road to fill in existing pedestrian gaps.
• Project cost: $600,000 (2021 estimate).

*Note:

• This project is part of the Medlock Bridge Capacity project which will include improvements at five intersections and three pedestrian connectivity projects. These improvements along Medlock Bridge Road will alleviate traffic congestion and improve pedestrian connectivity including a pedestrian bridge or tunnel options to cross Medlock Bridge Road.
