Current Issues:

  • Capacity and congestion issues along the corridor
  • Safety concerns at Seven Oaks and Deer Lake neighborhoods

Proposed Solution:

  • Widening McGinnis Ferry Road from 2 to 4 lanes from Sargent Road to Douglas Road
  • Project cost: $7.5 million (2021 estimate)

Anticipated Results:

  • Additional travel lanes and dedicated left and right turn lanes will enable  turning vehicles to get out of the way of through traffic
  • Improve operations and safety within this phase of the overall project
