Current Issues:

  • Improve safety and traffic flow along roadway
  • Bridge over Cauley Creek Tributary has a sufficiency rating of 56, indicating that the bridge must be improved/replaced
  • Bell Road is a major collector road, connecting residential neighborhoods and schools to major roadways in Johns Creek

Proposed Solution:

  • Replacement of existing roadway bridge and parallel pedestrian bridge 
    • Roadway bridge will be replaced with a new roadway bridge
    • Pedestrian bridge will be replaced and moved onto the bridge itself
  • Project cost: $1.7 million (2021 estimate)

Anticipated Results:

  • Improved safety
  • Provides pedestrian access and promotes sidewalk connectivity
