HomeResidents Education

The 19 Fulton County public elementary, middle and high schools which serve the residents of Johns Creek are the backbone of the community. They are one of the main reasons people choose to live here to raise their families and educate their children.

Students have a number of public school choices, depending, in part, on the location of their residence in Fulton County School attendance zones.

Johns Creek's public schools receive extraordinary support from parents and local businesses that actively see themselves as community partners in education. As a result, Johns Creek students consistently rank at the top of national test scores and excel in all walks of school life: academic, athletic and extra-curricular.

Here are just a few examples of outstanding accomplishments by students at Johns Creek high schools that would not be possible without parental and community support:

  • The nationally ranked Chattahoochee High School Debate Team travels across the US each year for the top high school debate competitions, including the Harvard Round Robin.
  • On average, six students are chosen each year from Centennial High School for the highly competitive Governor's Honors Program in academics, art, dance, music and management.
  • Johns Creek's public middle and elementary schools provide a warm and positive environment for K-8th grade students to experience the joy of learning.
