Calendar Events

The calendar is a way to announce events of general public interest in Johns Creek that are sponsored by non-profit organizations.

Only submissions by nonprofit organizations which fall into one of the following categories will be considered: 

  • Non-profit organizations that partner with the City of Johns Creek through a formal agreement (ex: memorandum of understanding).
  • Non-profit organizations with at least 10 years of service to the community which have been continuously offering community programming specific to Johns Creek residents since the organization’s inception.
  • Non-profit organizations hosting its event(s) within the City limits of Johns Creek. 
  • Submissions must be for events open to the public and not just to members of the submitting organization.
  • As our jurisdiction is limited to the City of Johns Creek, supported events must generally take place in Johns Creek.
  • If an event is approved for publication, it does not constitute endorsement by the City nor give permission to use City resources for the event. Please be advised that a separate facilities or event permit may be required.

As a .gov website, we cannot advertise for private individuals, firms, corporations, or imply in any manner that we endorse or favor any specific commercial product, commodity, service or business. We also cannot promote events considered to be religious or political in nature, or of interest to a specific religion or political party.

The City does not list estate or garage sales run by individuals.
The City reserves the right to refuse any submission violating existing City policies, permits, or ordinances.


Links to External Sites

At its discretion the city may provide links to external sites that fall into one of the following categories:

  • Businesses with active Johns Creek business tax certificates on the Business Directory and Find Business map.
  • City of Johns Creek created pages on social media websites, such as FacebookX, and YouTube.
  • News organizations serving Johns Creek.
  • Other governmental agencies.
  • Public and private, bona fide local educational institutions.
  • Utilities that provide service in the city.
  • Non-profit organizations that partner with the City of Johns Creek through a formal agreement (ex: memorandum of understanding).
  • Non-profit organizations with at least 10 years of service to the community which have been continuously offering community programming specific to Johns Creek residents since the organization’s inception. 

  • Please note: Youth sports organization and youth sports leagues offering programming for Johns Creek residents 18 and under will be permitted to provide a link to its external site only within the City’s Sign Up By Sport page.
