Located in the northeastern tip of Fulton County, Johns Creek is represented by a

City Council elected at-large. The City Manager serves as the City's chief administrative officer and is responsible to Mayor and Council for the efficient and proper administration of the City's affairs.

Johns Creek became a municipality when it was incorporated Dec. 1, 2006 following state legislation and a voter referendum.
Today, Johns Creek is the 10th largest city in Georgia with more than 80,000 residents.
