The Johns Creek Community Development Department will host a seminar for pool contractors and builders on current policies, procedures, and expectations as it relates to pool construction in the city.
The seminars will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 2 and Thursday, Feb. 9, from 8:30 a.m. to 10 a.m. at Johns Creek City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive.
Pool contractors/builders can achieve a better understanding of zoning regulations, site design and engineering, permit plan submission and inspections.
The seminar will include:
- Planning & Zoning: setback requirements, buffer regulations, arborist review
- Land Development & Site Engineering: design requirements, runoff reduction requirements, best management practices
- Building Permit Submission Process: plan requirements, building and pool codes, inspections
- Question & Answer Session
