Come together as a community to celebrate Diwali, the festival of lights!
The event will feature a DJ and live performances along with a variety of food and retail vendors. The celebration takes place at Shakerag Park, 10945 Rogers Circle, on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
Be sure to stay for a special fireworks celebration beginning around 7:45 p.m. The entire community is invited to help celebrate the symbolic meaning of Diwali, a “victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance.”
This family-friendly festival is the first city and community organized Diwali event in the state of Georgia and embraces the cultural diversity of our Johns Creek community.
