Johns Creek celebrates Park and Recreation Month

June 30, 2022

Since 1985, America has celebrated July as Park and Recreation Month. A program of the National Recreation and Park Association (NRPA), the goal is to raise awareness of the vital impact that parks and recreation has on communities across the U.S.

This year, we are highlighting the fun, games and exciting offerings at your local parks and recreation opportunities in Johns Creek. There are plenty of parks in Johns Creek and we are proud to also have a National Park at the Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area. Did you know we have over 400-acres of parkland and nature preserve?

We will be featuring a different Johns Creek park on our social media every week in July. Help us celebrate by checking out our Instagram, Twitter, and Facebook pages for suggested activities and fun facts about each park. And of course, visit your favorite Johns Creek park this month!
