Community invited to participate in the Recreation & Parks Master Plan update

May 04, 2022

Engage. Plan. Play! The City of Johns Creek is beginning the Recreation & Parks Master Plan update and we need your input!

A public information meeting for the master plan will be held on Tuesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. at City Hall, 11360 Lakefield Drive.

The master plan will guide the department for the next 15 years and will provide strategic direction and vision with specific plans for redevelopment and expansion of parks, open spaces, facilities, and recreation opportunities offered to the community.

The May 17 public information meeting will include an introduction to the project team and gathering of public feedback on park programming and facility needs.

Additional community engagement opportunities and meeting dates are planned throughout the summer and will be announced soon. Throughout the master plan process, which is expected to be complete in December 2022, there will be several opportunities for the entire Johns Creek community to participate and provide input.
