Do you love to swim? Come qualify to be a part of the award winning and record breaking,
Johns Creek Aquatic Team (JCAT) state swim team.
The city-sponsored Johns Creek State Swim Team (JCAT) is comprised of qualified swimmers, ages 7-18, from local Johns Creek neighborhood/subdivision swim teams who compete at the Georgia Recreation & Parks Association (GRPA) State Swim Meet. If you are planning on competing at the ASA Championship Meet at the end of July then you should consider trying out for the JCATs! Pre-register
here. (only pre-registration from qualified swimmers will be approved).
This “all-star” swim team will represent the City of Johns Creek and compete in the Georgia Recreation & Parks Association (GRPA) State Swim Meet. The meet is scheduled for July 22-23, at the Cherokee County Aquatic Center.
Eligible swimmers who are interested in qualifying for a spot on JCAT
MUST indicate their intent by placing
JC6 in front of their
first name when submitting their entry form for the ASA League Championship Meet. This will allow staff to determine eligible swimmers on qualifying meet day.
If the swimmer does NOT have JC6 indicated in front of their name they will not be able to join the team (even if their times “qualify” them). **
Only times from the ASA Championship Meet on July 1 will be used to qualify swimmers for the JCAT.
The City is now hiring for their 2022 JCAT swim coaches (Head and Assistant Coach). If you or someone you know is interested in these positions please complete on online application on the
city website.
