City Council has reconfirmed Donald Schaefer as the Chief Judge of the Johns Creek Municipal Court and confirmed Wanda Dallas and Jenny Nguyen as Associate Judges of the Johns Creek Municipal Court.
Schaefer has presided as Chief Judge in the Johns Creek Municipal Court since the City’s inception. He’s practiced law for 40 years and has 28 years of experience as a municipal judge. He’s also presided as Municipal Court Judge in Atlanta, Alpharetta, Loganville, and Sandy Springs.
Dallas has practiced law for 27 years, serving as a Municipal Court Judge for 13 years in various cities including Riverdale, East Point, South Fulton, and Clayton County.
Nguyen has practiced law for more than 12 years, serving as Municipal Court Judge in Forest Park and Morrow for the last year.
Schaefer and Dallas were sworn-in in late March and Nguyen will be sworn in later this month.
The three judges’ terms expire in four years.
