Join Autrey Mill Nature Preserve to help to clean up the City's namesake, Johns Creek, on Saturday, Aug. 20.
Debris and litter collected may be brought to Autrey Mill Nature Preserve on the day of the event, where we will properly dispose of the waste.
We will be joined by the North American Native Fish Association (NANFA) for an on-site demo and information session.
Timeline:
- 9 a.m. – Meet at Autrey Mill Nature Preserve under the Pole Barn
- 9:15 a.m. – Safety Talk and Distribution of supplies
- 9:30 a.m. – We will caravan over to Johns Creek where we will start collecting litter.
- 11:15 a.m. – We will bring our collected litter back over to Autrey Mill where we will sort, categorize, weigh it and properly dispose of it. Autrey Mill will upload the data to the Rivers Alive Database.
- Noon - wrap up
