Johns Creek City Council approves Fiscal Year 2022 Budget

The Johns Creek City Council approved a $62 million General Fund budget Monday, Sept. 13 for fiscal year (FY) 2022, which begins Oct.1. Created amidst evolving impacts of the global pandemic, the FY2022 Budget revenue estimates have been informed by monthly data, insights from relevant industry professionals, and historical trends but are tempered by current realities due to COVID-19.

City extends provision for flexible outdoor operations at restaurants, retail establishments

Johns Creek Public Safety Foundation recognizes scholars

The Johns Creek Public Safety Foundation announces the award of six college scholarships in the amount of $2,500 each to the children of Johns Creek’s police officers and firefighters. A grant of $15,000 for use in funding these scholarships was generously contributed to the Foundation by Superior Essex, a Sandy Springs-based company. The scholarships were awarded to Bailey Clifton, attending University of Georgia; Harrison Hood, a Sequoyah High School Senior and tentatively attending Wingate University next year; Julie Johansen, attending Kennesaw State University; Kara Kalish, attending Georgia College & State University; Mary Meberg, attending Florida State University; and Cole Tyson, attending Kennesaw State University.
