COVID-19 testing site opens April 24 in Johns Creek

A COVID-19 testing site will open on Friday, April 24 at the former Rite Aid building at 11855 Jones Bridge Road (at the intersection of Jones Bridge and Sargent roads). The new testing site is part of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and will be staffed by Walgreens personnel. The appointment-only testing site will be open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. seven days a week. Johns Creek Police will provide on-site security for the testing site.

Please review the following critical instructions:

  • Patients will need a physician's order/referral 
  • No drive-up testing; testing will be performed by appointment only (appointments scheduled by referring physician)
  • Patients must be in an enclosed vehicle with windows up (no convertibles, open-air Jeeps, etc. allowed)
  • Testing will be performed by patients while remaining inside their vehicle
  • Testing results will be available approximately 24 hours from submission
