May 31, 2019

Independence Day eventMark your calendars and save the date for your new Independence Day tradition complete with a picnic, music, and fireworks! Bring your family and friends to the City of Johns Creek’s Independence Day Celebration at Newtown Park.

Celebrate our country's independence with friends and family on Wednesday, July 3, beginning at 6 p.m. Grab a spot on the terraced amphitheater lawn with a home-packed picnic or delicious food from Patty Wagon, Southern Crust, Lat’s Taco Bout It, Peace of Pita, and King of Pops. Cold beer and wine will be available for purchase.

Crystal Clear Band will take the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater stage. Crystal Clear is sure to keep people on their feet from start to finish. The group performs an exciting blend of Classic R&B, Jazz, and current dance favorites. So, be sure to bring your dancing shoes!

And if that’s not enough, top-off the night with a fireworks extravaganza!  Fireworks will begin after sunset.

For those looking for a little more room, you can purchase round tables, for up to eight people, under the amphitheater by calling 678-512-3200.
