Johns Creek residents are invited to attend workshops to provide feedback on the draft Comprehensive Plan. The Comprehensive Plan is an important document that that impacts the lives of every resident as it seeks to preserve and protect residential neighborhoods, and carefully manage future development growth.
The
latest draft version of the Comprehensive Plan is designed to preserve Johns Creek’s existing neighborhoods by reducing the number of new units per acre; form community areas with individual identities and to encourage more community involvement in what happens in ”your backyard”; improve our transportation connectivity both along our roadways and pathways; provide premier parks and recreational opportunities for residents of all ages and abilities; and improve the city’s economic base by retaining current businesses and attracting new businesses that fit the character of Johns Creek.
The upcoming workshops are designed to provide a focus for each of the proposed eight
Community Areas in the city, as defined in the draft plan.
