Free Outdoor Fitness is back at Newtown Park Amphitheater. Looking to try something new or just enjoy working out in a fun outdoor atmosphere, the Outdoor Fitness classes are a great workout. Certified instructors teach these popular classes and all fitness levels are welcome.
The free group classes begin Sunday, April 15 and run through Sunday, October 28. Class begins at 10 a.m. All classes are one hour.
Classes include outdoor Zumba, Yoga, and Barless-Barre classes. Zumba is a popular fitness program that combines popular music with easy to follow dance moves for an effective and exhilarating calorie-burning workout! Yoga moves at a slower pace, improving flexibility, muscle tone, strength, and stress management through stretches, poses, and relaxation techniques. The Bar-less Barre classes are ballet inspired exercises that use small isometric movements to build muscle, improve posture, balance, and flexibility.

All participants must bring their own yoga mats, there is no equipment needed for the Zumba classes. Participants under the age of 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
