Free Outdoor Fitness 2018

Outdoor FitnessFree Outdoor Fitness at Newtown Park continues on June 3. Come on out and try something new or just enjoy working out in a fun outdoor atmosphere. Certified instructors teach these popular classes and all fitness levels are welcome.

The free one hour classes will be held on Sunday, June 3 and continue on June 10 and June 24. All classes begin at 10 a.m. and are held at the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater.

Classes this month include outdoor Zumba, Yoga, and Bar-less Barre.

Zumba is a popular fitness program that combines popular music with easy to follow dance moves for an effective and exhilarating calorie-burning workout! 

Yoga moves at a slower pace, improving flexibility, muscle tone, strength, and stress management through stretches, poses, and relaxation techniques. 

The Bar-less Barre classes are ballet inspired exercises that use small isometric movements to build muscle, improve posture, balance, and flexibility. 

All participants must bring their own exercise mats, no equipment is needed for Zumba. Participants under the age of 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.
