New traffic signal installed on Johns Creek Parkway

December 12, 2017

Tech Park SignalA new traffic signal is now functional at the intersection of Johns Creek Parkway and Technology Circle.  The traffic signal was installed to improve operations and safety at the intersection.
Johns Creek Parkway, which runs inside Johns Creek Technology Park (east of Medlock Bridge Road, south of McGinnis Ferry Road), carries an average of 6,700 vehicles per day.  Public Works advises drivers to remain alert with the new signal.
Also, a new mast arm signal was installed recently at State Bridge Road and Parkway Baptist Church, east of Medlock Bridge Road. The mast arm signal replaces the former signal wire cables.
The mast arm signal is part of the City’s effort to replace old signals that have reached their functioning capacity. Earlier this year, the City installed a new mast arm at Old Alabama and Brumbelow roads. The City is currently working on installing two additional new mast arm signals along Old Alabama Road.
