Independence Day event set for July 3

Independence Day celebrationStart a new tradition complete with a picnic, music, and fireworks at the City of Johns Creek’s Independence Day Celebration at Newtown Park. 

On Tuesday, July 3, beginning at 6 p.m. celebrate our country’s independence with friends and family. Grab a spot on the terraced amphitheater lawn with a home-packed picnic or delicious food from Big C's Chicago Kitchen, Cousins Maine Lobster, Kona Ice, and King of Pops. Hurricane Grill will be serving cold beer and wine. 

Bogey & the Viceroy will rock the Mark Burkhalter Amphitheater beginning at 7 p.m. Bogey & the Viceroy cover classic soul from every era along with retro rock/pop to today's current chart-toppers, Bogey & the Viceroy is sure to lead to a dancing in your seat good time.

And if that’s not enough, top-off the night with a fireworks extravaganza!  Fireworks will begin after sunset. 

Please DO NOT bring outside alcohol (will be for sale inside Amphitheater), NO pets, and NO personal fireworks. Please feel free to bring lawn chairs or blankets!
