Construction set to begin on Autry Mill Road sidewalk

September 27, 2018

Autry Mill SidewalkConstruction is set to begin on a sidewalk along Autry Mill Road from Buice Road to the existing sidewalk.

The project, which closes a gap in the sidewalk network, connects residents to Dolvin Elementary School and Ocee Park.  The 10-foot sidewalk will extend 2,100 linear feet.

City Council approved a sidewalk priority list in 2017. According to the prioritized sidewalk list, the highest ranked segment not yet under construction or funded by TSPLOST is the gap along Autry Mill Road. The sidewalk gap ranks sixth in priority by segments and third in priority by corridor. View the sidewalk rankings and policy.

Construction will begin in October and is expected to be complete by Spring 2019.
