Jones Bridge Road widening project public meeting set for Jan. 19

Jones Bridge Road mapA public meeting regarding the widening of Jones Bridge Road from Sargent Road to McGinnis Ferry Road will be held on Thursday, Jan. 19, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. at Johns Creek City Hall (12000 Findley Road, third floor).
 
The Jones Bridge Road widening project includes widening the existing roadway from two to four lanes for a 1.5 mile section of roadway as well as the addition of a landscaped median and a 10-foot multiuse trail on the west side of the road. The project also includes operational improvements to intersections such as turn lanes, revised traffic signals, and reconfiguration of the existing pavement to add two through lanes.
 
The public is invited to view the proposed project plans, ask questions, and provide feedback. The informal meeting will be held from 6-8 p.m. and the public is invited to attend anytime during these hours. While there is no formal presentation, engineers will be available to answer questions.
