Hear the smooth sounds of New Orleans Jazz at the July 22 Summer Concert

ConcertThe City of Johns Creek is excited to welcome Stooges Brass Band & AJ Ghent Band to the stage at Newtown Park on July 22! 

Join friends and family at Newtown Park and enjoy the authentic jazz melodies of Stooges Brass Band. They consistently provides a welcome blast of true New Orleans spirit engaging audiences with their innovative blend of traditional New Orleans brass sounds, contemporary jazz and hip-hop beats.

Also gracing the stage is the AJ Ghent Band. AJ Ghent, constructs an indie-rock sound howling from the church to the blues. His style can be defined as fresh, nostalgic, electrifying and rootsy, -- fusing the sounds blues, funk, hip-hop and a sprinkle of EDM together into a genre he likes to call, NEO BLUES.

Concerts are FREE, gates open at 6 p.m. and the show begins at 7 p.m.

For the July concert, the food truck Cattywampus Grill will be on-site and King of Pops with their sweet frozen treats. Hurricane Grill will also be on-site serving cold beer and wine.

No outside alcohol, pets, or tents are allowed at the event.
