Run for Special Olympics at Johns Creek's Finest 5K on May 21

Johns Creek's Finest 5KThe Johns Creek Police Department is hosting its second annual “Johns Creek’s Finest 5k” on May 21 at Shakerag Park to benefit Special Olympics Georgia.

The race is a qualifier for the AJC Peachtree Road Race, which is billed as the largest 10k race in the world. Times will be recorded automatically and displayed at the finish line. Awards will be given to the top male and top female finishers for each age group.

Johns Creek’s Finest 5k is stroller-and dog-friendly. Following the 5k, runners can relax with healthy snacks and beverages. Participants receive a t-shirt and are automatically entered into drawings to receive gift cards from local restaurants and businesses.
