Summer is around the corner! This mean warmer weather, visits to the park, swimming pools, and other types of summer fun! Get your summer off to a healthy start by signing up for one of our Clubhouse Fitness Classes! Adding exercise to your routine provides a wide variety of health benefits, including increased energy, focus, and better overall physical health.
This session, beginning the week of May 2, offers Yoga; Zumba; Pilates; and Barre; classes are for beginners to experts.
Classes are 60 minutes long and meet once a week for seven or eight weeks beginning the week of May 2 through the week of June 27. The seven-week session costs $44 for residents and $66 for non-residents. The eight-week session costs $50 for residents and $75 for non-residents. Registration begins April 1 and ends April 22.
New May/June Class:
Beyond Barre - This one hour class enhances strength, balance and flexibility through classic ballet style movements and Pilates mat exercises. The class will also consist of strength training and toning utilizing lightweights and additional props.

Thursday 6 p.m. - Slow, Flow & Stretch Yoga
Friday 8:15 a.m. – Friday Fitness Flow Yoga
Sunday 11 a.m. – Fitness Yoga
Monday 11:30 a.m. – Zumba
Wednesday 9:30 a.m. – Zumba/Zumba Step
Saturday 9 a.m. – Zumba
Tuesday 10:30 a.m. – Intermediate Pilates w/ Props
Wednesday 6 p.m. – Pilates w/ Props
Tuesday 6 p.m. – Beyond Barre
Thursday 10:30 a.m. – LeBarre
Saturday 11 a.m. – LeBarre
All sessions are taught by certified instructors and are held at the Newtown Community Clubhouse located at Newtown Park at 3115 Old Alabama Rd. Participants must be at least 16 years old.
