Motorists on Medlock Bridge Road in Johns Creek may experience brief, intermittent delays from Monday to Wednesday as state road crews replace key equipment on each of the 12 traffic signals on that route.
Traffic signals at specific intersections will go dark for about 10 minutes while crews replace conflict monitors, which ensure that green and red lights are coordinated properly. The monitors prevent the traffic signals from simultaneously displaying green lights in all directions. A police officer will be on hand to direct traffic while the work is being done.
The equipment will be replaced between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m.
