‘Home’ opens 2015 Johns Creek Movies at Newtown Park series on June 13

Movies at Newtown ParkBring the kids, a blanket, lawn chairs and relax under the stars with Oh, a misfit alien and Tip, a girl searching for her mom, at Movies at Newtown Park in Johns Creek.

The animated DreamWorks film is about the adventures of Oh and Tip as he runs from his fellow aliens and she tries to locate her mother. The film is 93 minutes long and is rated PG.

In addition to the films, which are free, Movies at Newtown Park includes pre-show entertainment like inflatable moonwalk, face-painting, children's activities, giveaways, music, food and drinks. Pre-show activities start about two hours before sundown.

The movies start at dusk and are shown on a large inflatable screen. Families are encouraged to bring blankets and relax as they watch the movie. No alcohol or pets please.

The movie titles will be announced a week prior to each event. Movies are rated G or PG. The 2015 Movies at Newtown Park series is being sponsored by Northside Hospital.

Newtown Park is located at 3150 Old Alabama Rd.

Other Movies at Newtown Park dates are July 11 and Aug. 8.
