Johns Creek's "Super CPR Saturday" returns Sept. 20 with free, certification lifesaving classes for residents and businesses in how to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation and use of an automated external defibrillator.
The classes, part of the city's Heart Ready program, are taught by Johns Creek Firefighters/paramedics at 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. at Fire Station #62, 10925 Rogers Circle (adjacent to Shakerag Elementary School). Attendance at one of the three classes is required for certification.
These classes (based on American Heart Association's "Heartsaver") are most appropriate for ages 12 and older.
