Spend this weekend at the Johns Creek Arts Festival as you shop from more than 100 artists and hear the sounds of dozens of great entertainers.
The free, two-day annual festival, Oct. 25-26, features art in a variety of mediums and visitors are encouraged to come early to beat the crowds. The family-friendly event also features food and children's activities.
Blair CrimminsListen to the sounds of great entertainment acts including: Abe Parker, Abbey & Dudley, Laura Monk & Highcotton, Blair Crimmins, The Crossing, Tullamore Road and Richie Nuzz.
Local performers include: Woodward String Orchestra & Dance Ensemble, Centennial High School a cappella groups, North Atlanta Dance Theater, Perimeter Dance, Fleetwood Dance, Northview High School, Johns Creek High School Dance Club, Atlanta Asian Culture Dance, and Christian Youth Theatre (CYT) who will perform scenes from "Shrek the Musical."
The popular Pet Parade returns on Sunday, Oct. 26 at 11 A.M. Dress your pet and register for a chance to win "Best Costume," "Cutest Critter" and "Best in Show."
It's not too late to volunteer
throughout the festival, including artist & sponsor check-in, first aid, lost & found, festival information distribution and hospitality.
The festival runs Saturday, Oct. 25, 10 A.M. to 6 P.M. and Sunday, Oct. 26, 11 A.M. to 5 P.M.
The Atlanta Athletic Club fields are directly across from the Club at 1390 Bobby Jones Drive, Johns Creek, GA 30097. (Intersection of Ga. 141 and Bobby Jones Drive).
