Johns Creek students design holiday cards for military

Holiday card 1Holiday Card 2For the sixth year in a row, Johns Creek fifth graders have designed holiday cards for the city to send to members of the military as a thank you for their service.

Students from Findley Oaks, State Bridge Crossing and Dolvin elementary schools submitted their designs which will be incorporated into two montage designs for six oversized greeting cards.

Three veteran's hospitals across Georgia will receive the cards this year through Soldiers' Angels, a non-profit that supports military personnel.

The holiday cards will be available at City Hall beginning Dec. 1 at the Holiday Tree & Driedel Lighting Celebration through Friday, Dec. 5. The public is welcome to sign the cards during business hours (8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m.), Monday through Friday at City Hall, 12000 Findley Road, Suite 400.
