The Johns Creek Public Safety Foundation, a 501(c)3 charitable organization that promotes and supports the Johns Creek Fire and Police Departments, is seeking two volunteer members to join its foundation board.

"We're looking for individuals with significant charitable fundraising or event planning experience who have a passion for supporting the City's first responders," says Foundation Chairman Steve Broadbent. "Interested candidates need to live in Johns Creek, as well."

The Foundation serves as a liaison between the public and private sectors in Johns Creek and works to ensure its first responders have the resources, as well as the support from our businesses and residents, to maintain the highest level of police, fire, and emergency medical services. The Foundation also provides support to the City's firefighters and police who are injured in the line of duty.

The Johns Creek Public Safety Foundation meets no more than once a month. Meetings are typically held in City Hall on Mondays at 4:00 pm.

Interested individuals are asked to contact the foundation's chairman for additional information at 678-897-7468 or Steve.Broadbent@JohnsCreekGA.gov. Candidates wishing to be considered should submit a brief statement outlining their interest in joining the foundation, along with a summary of their relevant fundraising and event planning experience to Chairman Broadbent by November 30, 2014.
