Gray, Broadbent win in Council runoffs

Johns Creek voters elected Bob Gray and Steve Broadbent into office on July 22, filling two vacant seats on the Johns Creek City Council.

ElectionGray was elected to Post 4, left vacant with the resignation earlier this year of former Council Member Ivan Figueroa. Broadbent takes over Post 6, vacated last year by former Council Member Bev Miller.

In the initial, unofficial results from Fulton County, Gray reportedly defeated rival Eric Fragoso with nearly 58 percent vs. 42 percent of the votes. With 66 percent, Broadbent defeated candidate Nancy Reinecke's 34 percent of the votes.

Gray and Broadbent will be sworn into office on Monday, July 28 at 7 p.m. in City Council Chambers on the 3rd floor of City Hall, 12000 Findley Road, Johns Creek, GA 30097.
