Clubhouse Fitness Classes  

Johns Creek Recreation & Parks offers Clubhouse Fitness classes to help you get in shape, stay energized and maintain a healthy lifestyle.

All classes are held at the Newtown Community Clubhouse located at Newtown Park and are taught by certified instructors. All fitness levels are welcome!

Space is limited; please register early. (Must be age 16 or older at the time of the class.)

Location:  Newtown Community Clubhouse
Sessions:  8 weeks
Class Length:  60 or 75 minutes
Minimum:  6 students
Cost:  $50 resident; $75 non-resident

Current Session:  November/December

Please note:  Nov/Dec Session is 6-weeks and there are no classes the week of Nov. 24 for Thanksgiving Break.

Next Session:  Jan/Feb, beginning Jan 5, 2015 
Registration Open:  Monday, Dec 1 to Tuesday, Dec 23, 2015

Meditation

Discuss your needs, warm up with simple knee, ankle, elbow, wrist and shoulder openings, and progress to meridian stretching and flexibility exercises.

Pilates

Pilates can help support correct posture, build flexibility and muscle strength, along with improving coordination and balance.

Yoga

Yoga can improve flexibility, muscle tone, strength, and help in stress management. Stretches, poses, and relaxation will be taught.

This popular fitness program combines Latin music with easy-to-follow dance moves for an effective and exhilarating calorie-burning workout!
