Flood Maps: Floodplain Management includes information on the Georgia Flood Map Program, with an interactive flood-hazard map from Georgia EPD and FEMA, and detailed Flood Insurance Risk Zone maps that show the extent to which areas of the city are currently at risk for flooding.
Development Regulations: The City has adopted new, comprehensive Development Regulations with existing regulations and new sections consolidated in one unified document. Review the Development Regulations section in the City Code.

Permits: The Permits Directory is a consolidated list of the various permits (building, fence, pool, sign, etc.) issued by the Community Development department, which division to contact and the forms to request them.
Community Development staff strive to ensure land development and zoning regulations are fairly administered with courtesy and respect, consistent with the policies and goals established by the City Council and the adopted Comprehensive Plan.
The department assists the citizens of Johns Creek and its development community, the Planning Commission, Board of Zoning Appeals, Construction Board of Appeals and the City's elected officials while managing zoning and long-range planning, permitting, inspections, code enforcement and other activities in support of the City's vision, mission and goals.
