Mayor gives State of the City Address

Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker on Feb. 11 highlighted the City's accomplishments and shared his vision for the future in his State of the City for 2011 Address at the Atlanta Athletic Club.
With about 200 people attending, the mayor spoke about some of the City's infrastructure needs. He raised the question of possibly changing the charter so that citizens could vote whether they want to tax themselves to pay for bonds.
The extra revenue would speed the pace of maintenance and improvements, but he emphasized the choice would be up to the citizens.
