Johns Creek Art Center selling students' and instructors' work

If you want to get a jump on your holiday shopping, on Nov. 13 the Johns Creek Arts Center is starting a month-long sale of artwork by students and instructors.
Items include handmade jewelry, pottery, mosaics, paintings, and prints. Prizes will be awarded to youth and adults in various artistic categories.
On Nov. 13, the sale runs from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There also are mini-workshops for children. Refreshments will be available.
Visitors also can learn what classes are being offered in the Fall Mini Session from Nov. 15 to Dec. 17.
After Nov. 13, the sale runs 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday until Dec. 17.
