Water service will be interrupted in some Johns Creek neighborhoods for a few hours on Thursday, Oct. 14, as the state road crews re-direct water to new pipes as part of the McGinnis Ferry Road project.

Water flow will be cut off at 9 a.m. Thursday to neighborhoods near McGinnis Ferry and Sargent roads, especially in the Ashland, Wellington, Carriage Park, Wellington Estates, Cambridge and Lexington Woods North subdivisions. Service should be restored by 3 p.m. Thursday.

There will be no need to boil water. Water pressure may be temporarily affected.
