Animal clinics offer rabies vaccinations July 31

injectionsOn June 2, a rabid raccoon attacked a pair of pet dogs in Johns Creek near Taylor Road. Fortunately, the dogs had been vaccinated for the fatal disease. In all, there have been 10 recorded cases of rabies in Fulton County this year.

On July 31 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., several animal clinics in Roswell and Sandy Springs, in conjunction with Fulton County Animal Services, will inoculate pets against rabies. The vaccine costs $15 but comes with a free Fulton County license with valid ID and proof of residence.
