Forget Teddy Roosevelt, these bad boys talk loudly and carry big sticks.
Fourteen lacrosse teams from across the Mississippi to Virginia are descending in Johns Creek for the SouthEastern Lacrosse Conference Championship, bigger and better than ever.
The tournament features eight collegiate Division I club teams, two more than last year, and six Division II teams. The six quarter-final games will be played at the new Johns Creek High School, as well as Northview and Chattahoochee high schools. Northview will be the site of the semifinal and championship games for both divisions.
This is the sixth year the season finale has been played in Johns Creek.
The conference consists of 19 Division I teams and 18 Division II teams ranging from Florida to West Virginia to Mississippi.
Florida State University won the Division I championship last year while Emory University walked away with top honors for Division II.
