Traffic Alert – Parade impacts State Bridge Road Dec. 5

Various portions of State Bridge Road from Morton Road to Kimball Bridge Road will be closed between 8 a.m. and noon for the City of Johns Creek Founders Day Parade Saturday, Dec. 5. (See map.)

Parade planners are staggering closure times along the 1.3-mile route to minimize the impact to area residences and businesses.

The closures along State Bridge are as follows:

• East Morton to West Morton, 8 a.m.-noon
• West Morton to Jones Bridge Road, 9 a.m.-noon
• Intersection with Jones Bridge Road (both northbound and southbound lanes), 9:45 a.m.-noon
• Jones Bridge Road to Kimball Bridge Road, 9:45 a.m.-noon
• Morton to Medlock Crossing Parkway, 9:45 a.m.-noon

Closures include all side streets accessing State Bridge Road. The following detours are recommended:
