Bring it on! JC and Alpharetta firefighters duel on basketball court.

Johns Creek firefighters take on members of the Alpharetta Public Safety Department in a basketball show-down, Saturday, Dec. 5, at 6 p.m. in the Johns Creek High School gym.

Organized by the new high school's basketball program as a way to recognize and thank the community's police and fire public servants, Johns Creek High students and coaches anticipate a friendly – but highly competitive – match between the two city teams.

"They should bring it on," said Johns Creek Battalion Chief Jeff Hogan, who leads his team of Kyle Brown, Josh Cater, Brian Johnson, Todd Albritton, Matt Hoch, Alan Skully, Jeremy Adams, Andy Rice and Grant Eckard.

The public is invited to come root for their city's team. Admission is free. The school is located at 5575 State Bridge Road, Johns Creek.
