2nd Annual Taste of Johns Creek at the 'Hooch.' Oct. 2.

Over 50 restaurants offer tempting foods at CHS fundraiser

Taste of Johns Creek at the HoochThe second annual Taste of Johns Creek, set for Oct. 2at Chattahoochee High School, will feature gourmet food samples from over 50 of the city's most popular restaurants.

From 6-9 p.m., chefs from top eateries such as Luciano's, Kozmo's Gastro Pub, Stoney River, Indian Restaurant Bamboo Garden, and Sushi Tsu will share the best of their menu's for a great cause – the ongoing support of Chattahoochee's award-winning football program, marching band and cheer club.

Monies raised will help the ongoing effort of the Gridiron Club to build out a new 'Hooch' football locker room facility at the 18-year-old school; the Chattahoochee Marching Band compete at the U.S. Scholastic Band Competition; and the Chattahoochee Cheer Club travel throughout the area for various competitions during the school year.

"We invite the entire North Fulton Community to join us for what will be a fun event filled with great food, live entertainment, kid play zone and lots of community spirit in 'Hooch' style", said Gridiron Club Secretary and Taste Chair Bethany Bohannan. "We are most excited to demonstrate that not only do we have over 50 restaurants participating this year, but also that 24 of these restaurants are new to the event for this year."

Participating restaurants include: Adobo Taqueria, Alessio's, All American Ale House, Altobelli's, Bamboo Garden, BB's Best Burgers, Bruster's Ice Cream, Carmines, Carvel Ice Cream, Chic-Fil-A, Cinco's, Dee Tai Restaurant, Domino's, East Side Pizza, Essex Bagel and Deli, Fresh 2 Order, Fresh Market, Frontera Catering, Garrison's Broiler and Tap, Great Harvest Bread Company, J. Christopher's, Hachi-Hachi, Jason's Deli, Kozmo's Gastro Pub, Let's Eat, Luciano's Restaurant Italiano, Longhorn Steakhouse, Marlow's Tavern, New York City Deli & Bagels, Outback Steakhouse, Panera Bread Co., Pearl Lian Oriental Restaurant, Pepperoni's Tavern, Qdoba, Quizno's, Ray's New York Pizza, Riverside, Shane's Rib Shack, Specialty Cakes, Starbucks Coffee, Stoney River Legendary Steaks, Sugo Restaurant and Tapas, Sunshine II Chinese, Sushi Tsu, Tasty Pastry, The Patio Café and Bakery, The Red Rabbit, Alpharetta Ribs and Catering, Whole Foods, Yogur-le-hee and Z Pizza.

Tickets are $15 in advance, $20 at the door. Children 4 and under get in free.
