JCFD AED/CPR training
Residents learn how to administer CPR using a Mini Anne kit (blow-up mannequin).

Knowing how to do basic CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and how to use an AED (automated external defibrillator) device can mean the difference between life and death.

That's why the Johns Creek Fire Department offers FREE classes (non-certification) in both lifesaving techniques to all residents and Johns Creek business owners.

Taught by Johns Creek Fire Department paramedics and emergency medical technicians, the 2-hour class is based on the American Heart Association's "Friends and Family" CPR/AED program.

The class will be offered Saturday, April 25 at 10 am, noon and 2pm at Johns Creek Fire Station #2, 10925 Rogers Circle, Johns Creek, GA 30097. RSPVs are not necessary for the FREE class, but are recommended.

CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) is an emergency medical procedure for victims of cardiac or respiratory arrest.

An AED (automated external defibrillator) is a portable electronic device that automatically diagnoses potentially life threatening irregular heart rhythms and applies electrical shock for the heart to reestablish an effective rhythm.
