'Pitch, Hit and Run Championship,' April 18

Ocee Park hosts boys/girls baseball skills competition

Aquafina MLB Pitch, Hit & RunThe Aquafina Major League Baseball "Pitch, Hit, and Run," an official baseball skills local competition, returns to Ocee Park, Saturday, April 18, 10 am-noon. There is no fee. Registration starts at 9:30 am.

The competition is open to all boys and girls from the age of 7-14 and is the first step towards competing in the Team Championship (Major League Ballpark) and National Finals (2008 MLB All-Star Game).

Boys and girls compete together in four age groups (7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13-14) in three important aspects of baseball: pitching, hitting and running.

The All-Around Champion, Pitching Champion, Hitting Champion and Running Champion in each age group from each local competition advances to the Sectional Level.

Participants must present their birth certificate and a completed registration/waiver form at check-in. Please contact Johns Creek Recreation & Parks at 678-512-3200 with any questions.
