Mayor appointed to lead Municipal Association committee
Bodker to serve as chair of Revenue and Finance Policy group

Johns Creek Mayor Mike Bodker has been appointed Chairman of the Georgia Municipal Association's (GMA) Revenue and Finance Policy Committee.
As chair, Bodker will be responsible for overseeing the development of GMA's revenue and finance policies and presiding at committee meetings. The next meeting of the committee will take place at GMA's Mayors' Day conference in January.
The appointment was made by Kingsland Mayor Ken Smith, who serves as president of the association.
"Mayor Bodker will continue to provide effective leadership in his role as chairman, as he has done in so many other instances on behalf of GMA," said Smith.
Bodker also serves as Chairman of the Metro Atlanta Mayors Association
