Note: Fulton County 911 Emergency Services continues to dispatch emergency response calls for the City, with all 911 calls routed through the county's 911 Call Center to Johns Creek fire and police for response.

The City's new Fire Department was launched Tuesday, October 7.
New, high-tech fire engines and trucks rolled into the City's three fire stations at 7 am that morning, as 911 fire protection and emergency response services were transferred from the Fulton County Fire Department to the City's new 78 firefighting professionals.
One hour later, the first emergency call came through and first responders were quickly out the door working to serve the citizens of Johns Creek.
An Opening Ceremony to welcome the new Department to the community will be held Saturday, October 11 at 3 pm at Fire Station #1, 10265 Medlock Bridge Parkway.
