Mayor, Council review proposed '09 City budget

The Mayor and City Council continued to discuss the proposed budget for Fiscal Year 2009 at their September 15 Work Session. Key dates in the FY2009 budget process are:

• Sept. 8, 7 pm:  First Reading of Budget Ordinance and first Public Hearing
• Sept. 15, 5 pm:  Budget discussion with Mayor and Council
• Sept. 22, 7 pm:  Second Reading, second Public Hearing and adoption
