Autrey Mill featured as part of new documentary premiering May 18

Autrey Mill Nature Preserve & Heritage CenterAutrey Mill Nature Preserve and Heritage Center will be among the stories featured in a new documentary, "Sidewalk Stories," premiering Sunday, May 18 at 3 pm in the Atlanta Fulton County Central Library.

Five community organizations joined to produce the feature, designed to promote civic engagement and celebrate history and culture throughout Fulton County. In addition to Autrey Mills, the participating communities and organizations include Norwood Manor, Sandtown, Grove Park, and the Latin American & Caribbean Community Center.

"Sidewalk Stories" was produced through a partnership with People TV, the City of Atlanta's public access television station (Cable Ch. 24), and supported in part by grants from the Fulton County Arts Council, Atlanta Office of Cultural Affairs, and Georgia Council for the Arts.

The free premiere screening event includes a screening of the complete documentary, an opportunity to dialogue with the filmmakers, and a reception following the screening.
